About Us
I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and centered on you. I know it’s not one particular model of therapy that makes the difference, but the relationship we build together. My role is to walk alongside you, creating a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.
I use a variety of approaches depending on your needs, including Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Systems Theory. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients work through trauma.
Every person’s journey is unique, and I will work with you to find the path that feels right for you—one that builds on your strengths and helps you move toward healing and resilience.

Approaches
- Attachment-Based & Systems Perspective — Focuses on family and relational systems, helping clients see their patterns within those systems rather than in isolation. Integrating family dynamics, communication patterns, and interpersonal feedback loops — especially in couples, parenting, and family-related contexts.
- Trauma-Informed & Relational Approach — I believe that I have a deep awareness of trauma dynamics (control, avoidance, emotional numbing, hypervigilance) and emphasize safety, pacing, and empowerment. I often help clients explore how trauma informs relational and emotional responses (e.g., “being right vs. being relational,” “showing care authentically,” “shifting from reactivity to awareness”).
- Humanistic Therapy — Focuses on self-discovery, empathy, and understanding your values to foster personal growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — Helps identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve mental health.
- Motivational Enhancement Therapy — Encourages you to explore your goals and find motivation to make positive changes.
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) — Focuses on self-discovery, empathy, and understanding your values to foster personal growth. Teaches skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build resilience.
